Flow living was formed by Daniel Levy, Gil Sperling, and Jonathan Liebman on May 1st, 2017. It is a private company located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

They are the founders of Popimedia, one of Africa’s biggest adtech and performance marketing companies – a Facebook Marketing Partner. 

Popimedia was the largest buyer of Facebook media inventory in Africa, representing some of the world’s biggest brands when the company was acquired by global communications group Publicis in 2015.

Through their experience and expertise within the tech industry, they have led Flow in developing a platform that automatically creates 100s of property listing and agent profile ads on Facebook and Instagram, enabling the most powerful property industry on channels where people engage and spend their time.

People have always struggled with locating the right property to buy or the best apartment to rent. The three founders found a way to make this easier for buyers, tenants, and sellers by coming up with Flow Living.

Flow targets three main industries: property management, Real Estate, and Residential. It targets buyers, tenants, and sellers. 

Additionally, Flow works with agencies, developers, and agents who are looking for people for their properties and to grow their brands. Through the use of the largest social platforms in the world such as Facebook and Instagram among others.

With agencies flow automatically creates ads from the agency’s listings and brand profiles and targets them at the right people on Facebook and Instagram to build their brand and generate leads straight to their agents’ mobile

For property developers, flow automatically creates property ads for their development on Facebook, Instagram, and millions of websites, delivering leads to their agents to sell out their development.

Flow enables automated social media advertising for the real estate industry, providing a high volume of quality property leads and brand building.

Flow Living’s mission is revolutionizing the economics of rent with a shared value approach, bringing in behavioral economics to make the entire renting process more affordable, transparent, and seamless.

  • Flow is now actively using 32 technologies for its website which include: SPF, Let’s Encrypt, and Nginx
  • It has 3345 monthly visits which have ranked 3,810,978 among websites globally.

Founders

a). Daniel Levy (Co-Founder )

Levy started his career as a commercial attorney. He is a co-founder in other companies and also a CEO of Popimedia ( later sold to a french-based global communications group).

His business experience and expertise within the tech industry saw him co-founding Flow Living.

b). Gil Sperling (Co-Founder and CEO)

Gil Sperling started his career as an engineer and was one of three founding partners of Popimedia, one of Africa’s biggest ad tech and performance marketing companies – a Facebook Marketing Partner. 

Through his experience and expertise within the tech industry, Gil has been able to lead Flow in developing a platform that automatically creates 100s of property listing and agent profile ads on Facebook and Instagram, enabling the most powerful property industry on channels where people engage and spend their time.

d). Jonathan Liebman (Co-Founder)

Liebmann is a property disruptor and innovator and is known for pioneering South Africa’s largest urban revival in Maboneng. 

Through his experience and expertise within the property industry, Liebmann, together with the co-founders of Flow Living, is making the renting process more affordable.

Flow has 2 investors that are CRE Venture Capital and Kalon Venture Partners.

Funding History

Flow has 1 funding round which was done on Jan 29th, 2019 from the seed round. 

It was total funding of $1.5M from its investors.
