Do you want to learn how to draw an elephant? I know I do, so let’s get started!
Let’s draw the elephant’s head.
Step 1: First draw the outline of the head and ears as shown in the below diagram.
Step 2: In the right ear, draw an arc inside, mimicking the upper ear curve as the inner part of the ear. Draw two small arcs inside the ear originating from the head. Repeat the same to the left ear.
Step 3: Draw two eyes with eyebrows, inside the head.
Step 4: From the left side of the right eye, draw the trunk curving outside the head. Draw half lines on the top part of the trunk.
Step 5: Draw the mouth under the trunk and a tongue inside the mouth.
Let’s draw the elephant’s body and tail.
Step 6: From the left ear, draw a curve and bend it downwards to make the back and the back leg.
Step 7: Draw the tail behind the back leg with a tufted end.
Step 8: Draw the lower curve to complete the body of the elephant, leaving out a gap for one front leg and the back leg.
Step 9: Draw two back legs and two front legs with feet on the lower side of the body.
Step 10: Use a grey color to paint the head, ears, body, legs, and tail of the elephant leaving out the inner part of the ear, the tufted part of the tail, the eyes, tongue, and the feet toenails.
Step 11: Use a pink color to paint the inner part of the ears and the tongue.
Step 12: Use black color to paint the tufted part of the tail.
Finally, we have an elephant drawing!
